Staff Biographies

Dr. Tajchman received her medical training at the Johns Hopkins Univeristy. She did her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado, and a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Iowa. She worked as a pediatric cardiologist at the University of South Dakota before becoming the first pediatric cardiologist in Central Oregon in 2002. Dr. Tajchman is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.

Sue is a registered nurse with over 20 years experience in cardiology and critical care. Sue is the Clinic Coordinator for the Pediatric Heart Center.

Meg has been a teacher for many years. Her most recent experience was managing early childhood programs for children with medical or developmental challenges. She recently moved to Central Oregon from Seattle.

Karen is a registered pediatric diagnostic cardiac sonographer with over 25 years experience working with children and adolescents with congenital heart disease. Karen's previous pediatric experience was at Children's Hospital in San Diego, and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Rebecca is a registered pediatric diagnostic cardiac sonographer who has worked as an echocardiographer in Portland and Bend since 1991. Her experience is in both pediatric and adult echocardiography.
