Staff Biographies

Dr. Tajchman received her medical training at the Johns Hopkins Univeristy. She did her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado, and a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Iowa. She worked as a pediatric cardiologist at the University of South Dakota before becoming the first pediatric cardiologist in Central Oregon in 2002. Dr. Tajchman is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.

Sue is a registered nurse with over 20 years experience in cardiology and critical care. Sue is the Clinic Coordinator for the Pediatric Heart Center.

Tamara is a graduate of Western Oregon University, with a double major in education and public health. Before joining us in 2010, Tamara worked as a kindergarten teacher and as Director of Health and Safety for the American Red Cross.

Karen is a registered pediatric diagnostic cardiac sonographer with over 25 years experience working with children and adolescents with congenital heart disease. Karen's previous pediatric experience was at Children's Hospital in San Diego, and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

LuLyn is a diagnostic medical and cardiac sonographer with over 17 years' experinece. She worked as a staff sonographer in Corvallis and Albany before coming to Bend in 2002. She performs transthoracic and fetal echocardiograms at the Pediatric Heart Center.
