New Patients

Welcome to the Pediatric Heart Center of Central Oregon. We provide cardiac care for infants and children, and for adults with congenital heart disease. We also provide fetal cardiac diagnosis, and cardiac care for women with congenital heart disease during pregnancy. Please see Contact Us for our hours, location, and contact information.

If your child has had any prior cardiac testing, evaluations, or hospitalizations, please bring any prior records to your first appointment. Reviewing prior medical records is very helpful in allowing us to provide the best possible care. If you do not have these records, please bring with you the names, addresses, and phone numbers of previous physicians or facilities involved in your/your child's care.

Many insurance companies require a referral to see a specialist. If your insurance company requires a referral, please contact your primary care physician.

Please arrive at your appointment 15 minutes early, and plan on spending a minimum of two hours at the first appointment.

• New Patient Questionnaire, depending on the type of appointment you are coming for: Fetal Cardiology, Pediatric Cardiology (age 18 or under), or Adult (over age 18)


Please review the information on cardiac testing that may be included in your child's appointment. If your child is 3 years old or younger, he/she may require sedation if an echocardiogram is to be performed. Please click here for pre-sedation instructions. If your child is not scheduled for sedation, he/she is permitted to eat and go about his/her normal activities before the appointment. If you are unsure about whether your child will require sedation, please contact us.
